Paranoid Killdeer

This bird is called a Killdeer because of the noise it makes. "Killdeer", I admit, is not the first thing that comes to mind when I hear its call, but as some might say: "Whatever." It's acting like it's hurt because I'm close to its nest and it is trying to distract me.
